Camp Cucumber gave me back hope which I had lost. I was just existing, not living. Happiness was something on the faces of others, not mine. But this week, I felt hope. I was so happy. My children were brave. And I feel I can go on. Thank you Camp Cucumber.
The camaraderie, fellowship, and love I felt both years at Camp Cucumber is wonderful. The counselors, Bubbles, Pete, Stitches, and Big Red are such amazing women to do this fantastic job for us women and it is beyond words to explain. My son and I had a beautiful time. Thank you. God bless.
There are not enough words to explain the joy that Minya and I feel after a week at Camp Cucumber. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Minya enjoyed swimming and arts & crafts. I loved boating and hiking. Thanks again for giving my family the chance to really enjoy ourselves.
Being here for the second time has given me a purpose to revive my courage and get ready to move forward to achieve my goals. Camp staff and everyone around me have been amazing at helping me and my children see that possibilities are endless. Thank you.

Thank you Camp Cucumber. This was the most fantastic experience that my son Avery and I had together. It was the perfect combination of fun, relaxation, and togetherness time. Thank you so much for your great support and efforts to make my dream come true for my kids. My kids enjoyed so much during camping. The activities, food and everything was wonderful and amazing. I attended Camp Cucumber probably about 14 years ago. I decided to google you guys and watched some of your videos. I saw a piece where you say “I don’t want them to remember for six months or a year, I want them to remember forever.” I am emailing you to let you know you’re doing an amazing thing, and I will remember Camp Cucumber for the rest of my life. It was an amazing time, and I learned so much thank you and your organization from the bottom of my heart. I would never have had that opportunity to spend that kind of quality time with my family we simply didn’t have the means or even the thought. I have children of my own now, and I make sure camping is something we do every year. I always tell my wife about the memories of Camp Cucumber mind you the name has caused a few laughs and question if it really existed but hey now that I found the website I can put all the doubts to rest. Anyways thank you again.
